Ohh Ehh Ehh Ohh Ehh

To think of the Monkey Island series is to think of one of those video gaming legends whose legacy will be written into the pages of computing history for all eternity. A series that may even live up to the heritage and absurdity of the Zork series. While LucasArts may best be known for their Star Wars games (namely the X-Wing series), their best work most certainly lies in the Monkey Island series.

It's.....pink!
Grog me, barkeep!
So easy, even a monkey could do it
eeewww

Written to not only be a great adventure game, but also to be a great spoof on adventure games, the Monkey Island series has delighted fans for all four games with its bad puns, quick wit, and jokes about the video game industry (why am I still expecting to be insulted by some strawberry flavored eyepatch salesman at some point in the game?) After Iteration upon iteration of first person shooter Quake replicas, Warcraft replicas, and other mock-off games, it's very nice when you see an adventure game, let alone one that is so different from everything on the market.

A map of Lucre(TM) Island
Looks like a bad Crocodile Dundee clip
Hi, me!
