Second round gives hundreds chance to play early release version.
Impressions Games (http://www.impressionsgames.com) today announced an
exclusive partnership with EBWorld.com (http://www.ebworld.com) to host
sign-ups for the open beta program for their upcoming strategy game, Zeus:
Master of Olympus. The open beta begins August 12th, and up to 350 testers
will be selected from those who visit
http://www.ebworld.com/ebx/ads/promos/zeusbeta/.
"We're looking for a broad range of people and systems so everyone should
feel free to apply," said Greg Sheppard, Q/A Manager for Impressions Games.
"Both expert and novice players are welcome."
According to Sheppard, selection for the beta test is based on a variety of
criteria: system specs, experience with other Impressions Games products,
and skill in documenting suggestions and communicating them clearly.
Contributing beta testers will receive not only pre-release builds of the
game for testing and evaluation, but also boxed copies when the game is
finished, and be listed in the credits in the manual. Sheppard adds that
those who already applied should not apply again or they may be
disqualified.
