public beta-test program for their upcoming strategic action game
SacrificeTM. Applications for the beta test program can be submitted by
visiting the Sacrifice website, www.sacrifice.net , and will be accepted
until September 10, 2000, 5:00 p.m. PST. Qualified participants will be
contacted via e-mail by 5:00 p.m. PST, September 11th, 2000
"The Goal of this beta test program is to gain the input and feedback from
the testers." Says David Perry, President of Shiny Entertainment, "The
creative feedback derived from 1000 gamers will be key in helping Shiny fine
tune Sacrifice with the ultimate goal being to make changes in the game so
that it plays perfectly and is everything consumers expected and more."
Shiny knows that beta test programs play an important role in the completion
of games such as Sacrifice. Not only will beta testers be in direct contact
with the Sacrifice team throughout the testing period, their names will also
be included in the credits section of the game. Prizes will be awarded to
the "top testers" who provide the Sacrifice team with the best feedback and
to those who submit crucial bug reports
