Switch to Manual Logitec....errr Helm Control...
Klingon Academy begins with possibly one of the best, most beneficial movies of video game history. It may not be the coolest, or the most gripping into the introduction of the story. In fact, it only barely touches upon the actual story of the game. But one thing it does cover, is how General Chang (Christopher Plummer, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country) lost his eye. A definite sign that it is actually tied in with the Star Trek universe, unlike some other games of late.

One of the most prominent features of Klingon Academy is, in fact, that it truly seems a part of the Star Trek Universe. The movies are brought to life by brilliant acting by Christopher Plummer as General Chang, reprising his role from Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, as well as David Warner Chancellor Gorkon, also from Star Trek VI. Furthermore, the in-game cut-scenes are further enveloping as a result of a (surprising) voice acting appearance from everyone's favorite Klingon, Michael Dorn, as Commander Thok Mak (you may remember Michael from a little-known role he did known as Worf, the Arbitrator to the Klingon High Council in Star Trek VI, and later in Star Trek: The Next Generation series, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine series, Star Trek: Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, Star Trek: Insurrection, and more than likely to appear in the future Star Trek X). Even in-game, the sounds, and graphics are truly a part of the game.
